Children's Dentistry

We love setting children up for a lifetime of good oral health!

We love seeing children here at Wellers Hill Dental Centre. Our highly experienced team are here to put your child at ease; we have a selection of colouring activities and children’s books for when they first arrive, put on the children’s channels on the overhead T.V’s for them to enjoy during their appointments, give them hi-five’s and sticker’s at the end – we do all that we can to make your child look forward to their trip to the dentist!

We are often asked “When should my child first visit a dentist?” – as a rule of thumb the Australian Dental Association recommends that you bring your child in when their first tooth appears, or they reach 12 months of age – whichever comes first. The earlier the better, prevention is better than cure, and making your little ones feel safe and happy in the dental clinic as early as possible will help set them up for a lifetime of good oral health!

We also offer FREE children’s dental to those eligible for the government funded CDBS – to see if your child is eligible you can check your “myGov” account, call the Medicare general enquiries line, or simply call us on 3848 3518 and our reception team can find out for you!
